What actually happens at an Ur Tiny Talks event (a parent's walkthrough)
If you've never been to a UTT event, you might be wondering: what's this actually like? Here's a quick walkthrough.
10:00 AM — Arrival. You walk in with your child. A mentor at the door welcomes you both, marks attendance, and gives your child a name tag with a tiny star sticker. Kids gather in two age groups: 5–10 and 11+.
10:15 AM — Warm-up circle. A short, silly icebreaker (think: 'tell us your favorite ice cream flavor in your funniest voice'). It melts nerves in about 90 seconds.
10:30 AM — Programs begin in parallel. Younger kids move to Flash Talks, Tiny Artists, Fun Quiz, or Mini Talent Show. Older kids head to Instant Impact, Clash of Minds, or Team Quiz. Each child does the programs they registered for.
12:00 PM — Showcase. We bring everyone back together. Some kids share what they did. Drawings are displayed. The youngest performers get the loudest claps.
12:30 PM — Gifts and goodbye. Every single child receives a gift — winners and participants alike. Photos are shared with parents (with consent) over the following week.
12:45 PM — You go home. Your child does not stop talking the whole car ride. You secretly tear up.
